Write for us
We welcome clear, carefully reasoned pitches about how people encounter and assess information on screens. Send proposals through the Contact page; a pitch is not a promise of publication.
What fits
Ideas may examine claims, images, sources, interfaces or screen-reading habits. We favour evergreen questions with a useful point for general readers, a distinct angle and a scope that can be handled without unsupported claims or specialist advice.
What to include
Tell us the working idea, the question it answers, why it suits Honest Screen Journal and the main points or sources you would use. Flag any relevant interests, limitations or other publication plans. A short, specific pitch is more useful than a complete draft sent without context.
Writing and care
Strong contributions separate what can be observed from what is inferred, explain uncertainty plainly and avoid presenting one example as proof of a broad rule. We do not welcome promotional copy, undisclosed conflicts or claims that cannot be checked. Send the proposal through the Contact page and select the editorial question option.
Trust grows when we notice the limits.
A screen offers evidence, not the whole story. We look closely, ask what is missing and avoid claiming more than the available context supports.
